What the Role Is

The Backup Truck Driver will responsible for operating a Tractor & Trailer unit or a Warehouse truck depending on the needs of the Distillery.  When work is not available in the Truck Driver position or between trailer moves, you will be required to work as a Warehouse Laborer, rolling barrels.

  • Schedule - 1st Shift, Monday thru Friday 5:00am - 1:00pm with OT as needed
  • Pay - $24.03/hour

How Will You Spend Your Time?

  • Operate a Tractor & Trailer unit or Warehouse truck, depending on needs of the Distillery
  • Transport goods and materials between locations during a regular work shift, as needed
  • Assist as Warehouse Laborer when driving needs are not present, rolling barrels and supporting team

Who You Are…

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • Have a valid Class “A” CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) with a hazardous material and tanker endorsement (no restrictions)
  • Must have two (2) years of over the road driving experience.
  • No convictions for driving while intoxicated or under influence of drugs within the past 5 years
  • No convictions for a "serious or disqualifying traffic violation" within the last three (3) years
  • No more than four (4) moving violations in the past 36 months, and no more than two (2) moving violations in the previous 12 months
  • Must be willing to provide DOT and MVR records to undergo review by a third-party insurer to validate insurability
  • Due to additional requirements set forth by our insurance, candidate must be a minimum of 23 years old
  • Knowledge of manufacturing and production work environment
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Must be highly motivated, energetic and reliable, stable and consistent work history that demonstrates a good work ethic, excellent attendance and the ability to produce a quality product safely

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

Required to stand and/or sit for extended periods of time, walk, bend, reach and will be required to push, pull, roll, lift and assist with heading up barrels weighing up to 500 pounds
