The Senior Brand Insights Analyst, reporting to the Commercial Finance Manager, will serve as the strategic analytical thought partner for the brand management teams at Heaven Hill. This role provides insights on market and brand performance and makes recommendations to improve commercial performance (sales, profitability, customer satisfaction, etc.). Additionally, this role will lead ad hoc complex and non-routine analysis projects. This role delivers results by effectively communicating actionable insights regarding customers, revenues, and market conditions.

How You Will Spend Your Time?

  • Serve as a strategic thought partner to the marketing teams and finance leadership
  • Assess trends, analyze shopper and syndicated/point of sale data to identify key customer opportunities for growth
  • Deliver account intelligence that keeps the team informed of any impactful developments within the accounts and Heaven Hill Brands Portfolio
  • Monitor industry/competition trends for insights to enhance our commercial strategy/execution
  • Conduct meetings with brand managers to share insights
  • Think creatively and critically to support new product and brand launch execution efforts
  • Prepare, gain insights from, and distribute standardized depletion and distribution tracking reports and dashboards for corporate, field sales, and marketing departments
  • Monitor, collect, evaluate, and distribute competitive pricing information for products in the assigned geographic markets
  • Further the company’s analytical capabilities by determining opportunities for improvement and training
  • Work with IT and data science on the development and usage of data visualization tools, including design of related databases, spreadsheets, or outputs
  • Perform special projects requiring complex data analysis and reporting
  • Act as an advocate for the adoption of advanced analytics in the organization

Who You Are…

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance or related discipline;
  • Minimum five years’ work-related experience in business analysis, sales, or finance
  • Experience with Power BI, RStudio Team, or Python programming language
  • Experience with syndicated and depletion data, including Nielsen and IRI
  • Previous experience in sales, marketing, financial or operational analysis
  • Proactive self-starter with initiative to go looking for relevant questions to be answered
  • Strong understanding of financial analysis, brand P&Ls, and product pricing
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data, and subsequently present interpretations in an easily understood format
  • Knowledge of key consumption occasions, shopper messaging, and methods of activation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

This role is based in Louisville, Kentucky which a home/office hybrid work schedule.
