What the Role Is

Coordination and execution of Heaven Hill’s community relations and philanthropy commitment. Management and execution of trade and local communications efforts, including media relations, for an extensive portfolio of spirits brands which help promote corporate and brand identity.

How You Will Spend Your Time?

  • Coordinate external Community Relations engagement initiatives.
  • Execute programs and activities through collaboration with a variety of stakeholders across Heaven Hill’s corporate citizenship, employee engagement and communications departments
  • Manage nonprofit event sponsorships, including encouraging employee engagement, executive representation, and corporate representation
  • Oversee philanthropic giving coordination to maximize department effectiveness
  • Coordinate Heaven Hill Community Ambassador groups across organization
  • Maintain and manage key community relations and nonprofit partnerships, including asset management, event coordination, and day-to-day communications
  • Maintain community relations accounts payable process to streamline payment, tracking and compliance
  • Measure and report the impact and effectiveness of programs, donations, and partnerships
  • Support additional community relations efforts, including public relations, stakeholder alignment, and communications.

Who You Are…

  • Combination of Bachelor’s Degree and/or in Communications, Public Relations, Political Science, corporate philanthropy or appropriate civic engagement professional experiences.
  • two - four (2-4) years work-related experience
  • Ability to interface in a professional manner with diverse groups
  • Willing to travel as needed and represent the company across different cultures
  • Willing to attend evening and weekend functions on behalf of the company
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks, work independently and maintain confidentiality
  • Comfortable working remotely, or with team members who are remote
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Experience working in the non-profit or public sector
  • Knowledge of corporate philanthropy/community building
  • Experience in neighborhood development programs
