This role is an office hybrid based out of our Louisville, KY or Austin, TX location.

What the Role Is

Under the general supervision of a Brand Manager, the Marketing Coordinator will support various project/brand needs for Deep Eddy Vodka. The position will concentrate on implementation of Social Media programs, digital marketing, packaging projects, special events and public relations programs. The Coordinator will work collaboratively with the brand team, corporate communications, creative services, agency partners and operations to help meet or exceed the brands’ overall sales and profit objectives.

How You Will Spend Your Time?

  • Gain a full understanding of the brands within the brand team portfolio and how they fit with the company strategy
  • Contribute to execution of strategic brand plans across sales channels (On-Premise, Off-Premise, E-comm), Advocacy, PR Social/Digital touchpoints and Media Planning by working with relevant stakeholders
  • Support the Brand Manager in developing and maintaining project timelines and key deliverables.
  • Management of content development for Social Media in conjunction with agency partner, as well as tracking and reporting of aspects of online activity
  • Liaise with internal departments and external agencies acting as a project manager across various marketing projects from packaging to promotional activities, materials and presentations, ensuring communication needs and timelines are met
  • Works with the sales teams and marketing procurement team to develop local market sales promotion tools and creative assets that extend and amplify national brand messages
  • Analyze and use sales data and industry data to report on brand health and progress towards goals and objectives

Who You Are…

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Management or related field
  • 1-3 years marketing experience or internship
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and presentation skills
  • High proficiency using Excel as well as expertise in using software such as Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Google websites
  • Ability to learn new databases/systems to pull data for analysis
  • Ability to learn quickly and apply learning to tasks
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective work relationships with internal and external contacts
  • Excellent critical thinking skills, using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
  • Strong organizational skills and resourcefulness
  • Analytical skills, in particular gathering data from a wide variety of sources, and presenting it in formats suitable for a wide variety of audiences
  • Excellent written communication skills including the ability to compose all communication such as social network posts, project reports, program communications, program recaps, etc.
  • Ability to prioritize and juggle multiple competing priorities
  • Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques and sales control systems
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
  • Capacity to travel as needed (approximately 10-15% of time)

Valued but not Required Skills and Experience:

  • Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Understanding of social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Snapchat
  • Experience in a distilled spirits industry
