What the Role Is

  • 2nd Shift Production Team Member will be responsible for assuring the overall quality of packaging. This included visually inspecting and making improvements as necessary.
  • Schedule: 10 Hour shifts Mon – Friday 4:15 pm – 2:45 am
  • Pay: $17.00 + 0.50 cent shift differential per hour

How Will You Spend Your Time?

  • Inspecting bottles to ensure quality of packaging as bottles proceed through bottling line.
  • Cleaning bottling lines throughout days production and post production.
  • Collaborating with team members to ensure packaging meets quality standards.
  • Examining all items on bottles for component accuracy.
  • Organizing work area using 5S techniques which include sweeping, mopping, cleaning, cataloging and maintaining the area.
  • Transferring cases weighing up to 50 pounds to keep production moving.
  • Assembling knockdown cases as needed.
  • Operating manual or electric pallet jacks to disperse components and finished goods throughout work area.
  • Discarding outdated or defective product.
  • Utilizing compactors to bail cardboard.
  • Performing additional requests provided by Supervisor to guarantee efficiency.

Who You Are…

  • Have previous work-related skill, knowledge, or experience is required
  • Hold a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Have knowledge of raw materials, how they are handled, measured, and applied to all processes. And awareness of confined space hazards
  • Have knowledge of equipment and how it is used and maintained within the department.
  • Can take initiative to avoid down time through utilization of time management skills.
  • Have Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
