What the Role Is
- The Distillery Utility Truck Driver will be responsible for operating and moving trailers for the Distillery Department. When work is not available in the Truck Driver position or between trailer moves, you will be required to work as a Utility Operator as needed.
- Schedule - 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm 7 day a week schedule, Sunday-Saturday, 3 unpaid days off per month offered
- Pay - $24.03 per hour + .35 shift differential
How Will You Spend Your Time?
- Operate tractor & trailer unit on Distillery property.
- Assist maintenance team with general duties when not moving trailers to include, but not limited to power washing, cleaning and other general housekeeping tasks.
Who You Are…
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Have a valid Class “A” CDL (Commercial Driver’s License)
- Minimum of two (2) years verifiable Tractor & Trailer over the road experience
- No convictions for driving while intoxicated or under influence of drugs within the past five (5) years
- No convictions for a "serious or disqualifying traffic violation" within the last three (3) years
- No more than four (4) moving violations in the past 36 months, and no more than two (2) moving violations in the previous 12 months
- Must be willing to provide DOT and MVR records to undergo review by a third-party insurer to validate insurability
- Due to additional requirements set forth by our insurance, candidate must be a minimum of 23 years old
- Must possess or be willing to acquire Tanker and Hazmat certifications in addition to CDL License
- Knowledge of manufacturing and production work environment
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Must be highly motivated, energetic and reliable, stable and consistent work history that demonstrates a good work ethic, excellent attendance and the ability to produce a quality product safely
Physical Requirements
Required to stand and/or sit for extended periods of time, walk, bend, reach and will be required to push, pull, roll, lift up to 50 pounds.
