What the Role Is
- The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment.
- Schedule - Monday-Friday 2nd Shift, 3:00pm-11:00pm, with occasional weekend overtime
How Will You Spend Your Time?
- Perform routine repairs and maintain all equipment to enhance efficiency and prevent malfunctions that could lead to production downtime and costly repairs
- Troubleshoot malfunctions and locate source of problems by examining equipment and mechanical devices
- Assist in line changes and process improvements
- Fabricate repair parts by using machine shop equipment
- Clean equipment, lubricate moving parts, change fluids, modify equipment and replace parts and components as required
- Maintain records of all maintenance activities
- Conduct preventive maintenance measures on structures, equipment, electrical, plumbing as well as facilities
- Control downtime by informing production employees of routine preventive maintenance techniques and monitor compliance
- Support and contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results and training production employees on efficient operation and basic routine maintenance procedures
- Maintain positive work environment by performing and communicating in a manner that promotes good relationships with co-workers, customers, clients and management
- Maintain safe and clean work environment
Who You Are…
- Associate's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Maintenance Journeyman's Card or equivalent certification
- 4+ years of manufacturing experience; strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and industrial skills with some PLC experience
- 4+ years of experience working as Maintenance Technician in Industrial Maintenance manufacturing environment
- Have a current TABE score of 10
- Have a current Bennett Mechanical score of 75%
- Highly motivated, energetic, and reliable
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Working knowledge of preventive/predictive maintenance techniques
Valued but not Required Skills and Experience
- Working knowledge of Robotics and automation
- Working knowledge of PLC programming and troubleshooting
- Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma techniques
- Previous experience in the distilled spirits industry
