What the Role Is

  • The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment.
  • Schedule - Monday-Friday 2nd Shift, 3:00pm-11:00pm, with occasional weekend overtime

How Will You Spend Your Time?

  • Perform routine repairs and maintain all equipment to enhance efficiency and prevent malfunctions that could lead to production downtime and costly repairs
  • Troubleshoot malfunctions and locate source of problems by examining equipment and mechanical devices
  • Assist in line changes and process improvements
  • Fabricate repair parts by using machine shop equipment
  • Clean equipment, lubricate moving parts, change fluids, modify equipment and replace parts and components as required
  • Maintain records of all maintenance activities
  • Conduct preventive maintenance measures on structures, equipment, electrical, plumbing as well as facilities
  • Control downtime by informing production employees of routine preventive maintenance techniques and monitor compliance
  • Support and contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results and training production employees on efficient operation and basic routine maintenance procedures
  • Maintain positive work environment by performing and communicating in a manner that promotes good relationships with co-workers, customers, clients and management
  • Maintain safe and clean work environment

Who You Are…

  • Associate's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Maintenance Journeyman's Card or equivalent certification
  • 4+ years of manufacturing experience; strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and industrial skills with some PLC experience
  • 4+ years of experience working as Maintenance Technician in Industrial Maintenance manufacturing environment
  • Have a current TABE score of 10
  • Have a current Bennett Mechanical score of 75%
  • Highly motivated, energetic, and reliable
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Working knowledge of preventive/predictive maintenance techniques

Valued but not Required Skills and Experience

  • Working knowledge of Robotics and automation
  • Working knowledge of PLC programming and troubleshooting
  • Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma techniques
  • Previous experience in the distilled spirits industry
