What the Role Is (Description)

The Pricing Coordinator, supporting Division Sales Manager(s) and other analysts, will be integral in maintaining our Price Structures in the Price Structure Management (PSM) Vistaar system. This individual will be responsible for collecting and maintaining the structures within the system. This role is effective by making sure that our pricing is accurate, maintains strong compliance and accurately helps us from a controls standpoint by insuring that we have unified documented price structures and helps us insure we are only paying for documented approved depletion allowances. This position will report to the Sr Manager, Net Revenue Management.

How You Will Spend Your Time?

  • Support the assigned sales division(s) in P&L management, data analysis, and business insights
  • Maintain Vistaar Price Structure System with very high level of accuracy.
  • Develop knowledge of pricing and operational concepts specific to the alcoholic beverage industry
  • Monitor company-wide pricing strategies
  • Monitor and maintain the relevance and accuracy of all information in the pricing systems through routine audits
  • Conduct, gather, analyze, and report on market-specific pricing surveys, and make pricing recommendations from this data, as applicable
  • Monitor, collect, evaluate and distribute competitive pricing information for products in the assigned geographic markets
  • Evaluate pricing related issues and participate in the development of action plans to correct deficiencies
  • Train new and guide existing personnel concerning pricing matters within the organization and systems
  • When applicable, utilize invoice level data to identify billing errors and margin erosion Depletions / Distribution
  • Prepare monthly updates for field sales and distributors versus target calendar year and fiscal year goals
  • Develop and monitor compliance with depletion allowance budgets

Who You Are… (Requirements & Qualifications)

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field, or equivalent experience of minimum 2 years’ work-related experience in data entry, with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Experience with a pricing system preferred.
  • Previous experience in data proficiency and accuracy.
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective work relationships with internal and external contacts, including corporate, field personnel, and distributors.
  • Must possess in-depth knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office tools and products including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access and ERP Systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
